Through a grant, awarded by the The Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities, The SEMA Food Security Network has happily taken on the role as the information and resource hub for all community gardens in the City of New Bedford.

The Community Garden Network

Mission & Vision of the Community Garden Network: A Community Garden Network can connect the residents of New Bedford with each other, as well as resources to build a healthier and happier community. From nutritious food to healthy soil, water, air and personal empowerment, community gardens could serve as a platform of growth.
