Get Involved

Progress happens when communities come together and build strong communication networks. Let your voice be heard and come join the conversations at the Southeastern MA Food Security Network

Being a part of the SMFSN coalition means sharing the responsibility of increasing our region’s food infrastructure. The first step is just showing up! We ask you to come share your ideas, concerns, expertise, skills, and stories to help us promote food security in Southeastern MA.

Food is everywhere and there are so many different areas of the food system to be represented.

Are you a:

Farmer?

Restaurant Owner?

Non-profit?

Food Pantry?

Social-service Agency?

Local Community Activist/Advocate?

Health Professional?

Food Policy Analyst?

Concerned citizen?

Then you are welcome to come and join the discussions! Don’t miss out on our Quarterly Meetings!

The Network is always looking for volunteers to work on marketing campaigns, community outreach and engagement, join sub-committee groups, and many other projects. Please send us an email to inquire!

There are a number of different ways to become a part of the FSN coalition.

  1. Join a sub-committee group
  2. Volunteer with one of our coalition partners or us on a project
  3. Attend our quarterly meetings
